We went for my son's birthday meal!!!Not happy with my experience tonight. Usually we never have a problem there. We waited 20 minutes to find out where our booked table was! Then a further 10 minutes to get drinks. In the mean time was spoken to very rudely by 2 members of staff. My daughter was told to mind her head as the waitresses lifted a babies high chair over her head. Then she was told to move! No excuse me or please! For a member of staff to open a door. (We didn't put the table there they did) will not be in a rush to return!
Lovely setting and nicely decorated to appeal to all ages. Had a small family lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size and quality of the food. Good customer service with a nice atmosphere. Recommended
Thought it would be nice to go for a Christmas drink with my wife (on Christmas Eve)...waited at the bar to be greeted by a less than friendly lady who told us they are only serving food..so we couldn't just have a drink..then turned her back on us...as we were leaving there was a group sat a table all with drinks..but no food in sight!!. It's a shame as we have just moved to the area and was looking to find a local. Its our first experience of this pub and it will definitely be the last.
Great service and great food, all food for 3 adults and 4children came out hot and nothing wrong with anything. Would recommend mix grill & fish & chips. Kids spaghetti Bolognese was loved by the kids too.
What a warm and lovely welcome we had, from Cheryl service was very quick and the steak I had was the best I've had in a long time. Well done Ivor Hael you now have 2 customer's who will be calling in on a regular basis. And the most important thing the meals are very very reasonable with many offers on meals go be had. The drinks are also reasonably priced. An all round lovely restaurant .
