I've had a great experience with D Sims from start to finish. The ladies who initially contacted me to arrange the pictures be sent across etc were fab and it was organised in a couple of days. I found the drivers who picked it up and dropped it back again were great - nothing was too much trouble. They even rang me on their way back to check it was OK for them to drive it back. I'd expect some garages to just get in and drive it without thinking to check. And most importantly, the job they've done is amazing. There's not a spec of overspray and the new bumper is aligned perfectly. The valet they've done is one of the best I've seen too. All done within 7 days! We're very pleased. I don't think they could have done a better job. Well done all!
My sister had a small bump 6 weeks ago which left a small dent on her bumper and the parking sensors faulty.To cut a long story short, the car was initially taken in and fixed 2 weeks after the bump but she realised as soon as she got in the car that there was still an issue with the sensors.It then took a further 4 weeks for the car to be taken in again and eventually sorted.During this time, whilst the car was being worked on she did have a courtesy car (arranged through insurance), but being reliant on her car for work and the inconvenience of the whole thing she was keen to get her car fixed and back ASAP.During the 6 weeks in total it took for the car to get sorted my Gran called the garage on her behalf to ask what was happening and why the process was taking so long. My sister then received a call from the lady in the garage calling my 84 year old Grandmother rude which not only feels totally unprofessional but has also really upset her. We had to use this garage as the work went through insurance, but would avoid at all costs going forwards! It was an unpleasant experience having minor work done from the very start.
My car was badly damaged by brake fluid to the extent of nearly 2/3 of car being resprayed . They did a reasonable job! When car was returned had a flat battery also It had to go back for the wheels to be done again, not happy with how long it took to repair and also was told no courtesy car.judging by other reviews I would say there is a need to keep in touch more with the customer and brush up on their people skills. After a year spray job is showing tiny dots of rust!!! Hence the reason why my review has changed
